CELEBRATE A LITTLE EARLY
Bastrop Patriotic Festival (June 29th)
Fisherman’s Park, Bastrop When: 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Admission: Free
Food, activities, contests and live music. A performance of the Star-Spangled Banner at 9 p.m., sung by members Harmony4Him, followed by fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza (July 3rd)
City Park, Lockhart When: 5 p.m. Admission: Free
Food, arts and crafts vendors and games. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to watch a show by Sky Dive San Marcos. Fireworks at dusk.
Greyrock Stars and Stripes (July 3rd)
Greyrock Golf Club When: 6pm Admission: Adults $15 Children under 10, free. Purchase wristbands ahead of time in the Proshop. This event will sell out. Parking passes: $5
Food, drinks and fireworks on the green. A great event for the whole family.
ON JULY 4TH
Lago Vista 4th of July Celebration
Lago Vista When: 7 a.m. Admission: Free
Firecracker 5K, Fun Run and Community Patriotic Parade. Swimming, live music and food all along Lake Travis. Fireworks at dusk.
Fredericksburg 4th of July Celebration
Fredericksburg When: 8:30 a.m. Admission: Free
Two parades, a chili cook-off and live music. Fireworks at the Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park at 9:30 p.m.
Buda City Park, Buda When: 9 a.m. Admission: Free
Children’s parade, featuring decorative bicycles, wagons and floats. Live music and fireworks.
July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration
Old Settlers Park, Round Rock When: 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Admission: Free
SERTOMA® Round Rock Fourth of July Parade, festival with carnival rides, pig races, and free watermelon. Fireworks begin after dark, followed by a movie in the park.
Cedar Park 4th of July Parade and Celebration
Cedar Park When: 10 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Admission: Free
The Cedar Park for the 4th of July Parade will travel down Discovery Boulevard to the Cedar Park Recreation Center. At 5 p.m., the festivities move to Elizabeth Milburn Park for carnival games, live music, free watermelon and other activities. Fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
SERTOMA Annual 4th of July Celebration
San Gabriel Park, Georgetown When: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Admission: Free
Hometown Parade, games, arts and crafts and a petting zoo. The event will wrap up with the Fabulous Fireworks Finale, which will begin around 9:30 p.m.
Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival
Hill Country Galleria, Bee Cave When: 3-10 p.m. Admission: Free
Sidewalk sale presented by the Hill Country Galleria retailers. Shopping, dining, and live music. Fireworks at 9:10 p.m.
Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival
The Pfield, Pflugerville When: 5:00-9:30 p.m. Admission: Free
Food trucks, arts and crafts, face painting and live music by Suede. Fireworks begin at 9:05 p.m.
Fire in the Sky 4th of July Celebration
Dripping Springs Ranch Park When: 5-10 p.m. Admission: Free
Food trucks, family-friendly activities and fireworks after dark.
US 183A South between San Gabriel Parkway and Hero Way, Leander
When: 6-10 p.m. Admission: Free
Children’s activities, food, craft vendors and musical performances. Fireworks at 9:25 p.m.
San Marcos Plaza Park, San Marcos When: 6-10 p.m. Admission: Free
Food, activity booths, children’s costume contest and live music by the Homebodies and Jeff Plankenhorn. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
Austin Symphony H-E-B® July 4th Concert and Fireworks
Vic Mathias Shores, Austin When: 8:30 p.m. Admission: Free
Annual July 4th Concert by Austin Symphony Orchestra. Fireworks will begin around 9:30 p.m.
Llano Rock’N RiverFest Fireworks (July 4th and 6th)
Badu Park, Llano When: 9-10 p.m. Admission: Free
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for fireworks at dark-thirty. If you can’t catch the fireworks on July 4th, there will be an encore display during Rock’N RiverFest on July 6th, which features a car show, cook-off and jet ski races.
Taylor Annual 4th of July Fireworks
Murphy Park, Taylor When: 9-10 p.m. Admission: Free
